Establishment Purpose

The territory of art and design is magnified and globalized today, and border between art and design as well as differences of the genre are coming to be meaningless. The design of the past was demanded one role as industry, and this time demands design as the culture producer and the culture creator. In addition, the importance and role of Asia expand politically, economically and culturally day by day. So the effort for the development of Asia is our tasks and duties as Asian.
Asia Network Beyond Design(ANBD) was founded in 2007 for the purpose of cultural value expansion through convergence of each area's characteristics. It promotes many valuable exchanges and performs Asian identity through networking over various boundaries: generations, countries, styles, professionals & amateurs, educational / industrial activities, organizations and etc.
